The main thing we want as a deliverable is a clearly ordered and well labelled bible to accompany the Blood Lawyers project. This should be laid out with descriptive elements - for instance, our character work for Aga alongside her character description. The various logo varieties and branding within the environment.
We need these laid out well, so they can be used as the companion to the selling page.
As far as the motion comic side. All we need here is your storyboards and one worked up scene from each. No need to animate them, unless you want to have a go and impress us.
At the moment, I think the one thing that really needs work is the Ach-aye-pad interface. I think the whole team should brainstorm this for a bit, and when it has been agreed on, get one of the more accomplished artists to work it up (okay if a couple of people want to try this - differences in style are good at this stage).
The same is important for the structures. Can you have them polished up a bit.
So, in short, your end product is a 'bible' that can be taken and read over by someone other than us and it will paint the world for them. We can assume they have some knowledge of the story - but that doesn't mean we can skip over the descriptives. We can also assume they have an idea of the direction we're taking in the Blood Lawyers (ie a different focus than than the book, and a story that runs in parallel that contains many of the same characters).
hope all that makes sense. I'm hoping to take the idea to the BBC in a couple of weeks, so your timeframe works well with mine. Think all the work has been great so far -obviously we've been working on a 'big' idea, which is why there's been so much fleshing out up front.
Give me a call / drop me an email if you need anything else,
Simon
