In light of the most recent meeting with the folks from Tern and the team members who were present we have decided on a plan for the next two weeks - leading up to our meeting with Matthew Fitt.
We agreed that there was not enough time to produce three full storyboards in the time available.
Everyone should produce a storyboard idea for all three of the motion comic ideas. This way, rather than there only being 2 ideas to choose from for the likes of the Aga idea, we will be able to pick from a larger pool of say 6 or 7 ideas.
For Friday 19th March (next week)
Computer Artists and Vis Com students should each produce a three or four frame storyboard for each of the following concepts. If you have already done work on some or all of these ideas then by all means bring them along - just make sure they are at a standard that you are happy with. From all these story boards we will decide on one key frame for each concept that captures the essence of that sequence and will then proceed to produce a high quality version of those key frames to show to Matt Fitt.
Sound Students should start thinking about the kind of music/ soundscapes that could be used for each of these ideas.
Matt and myself shall look into producing the bible of all the work that has been done to date.
Vine
This motion comic represents the Good Trip/Bad Trip and could be Split Screen but does not neccessarily have to be.
Also include your interpretation of the transition between the Real World and Vine.
Corporate and Aga
This motion comic needs to highlight Aga's visit to her husband while he is in a kist.
Another one which includes Aga meeting Paolo in the elevator bar.
These can be treated as two seperate motion comics or you may decide to incorporate them into one sequence, for example Aga meeting Paolo in the bar, and has the flashback of visiting her husband, its up to you.
Slums
This motion comic should begin with street dealing to Vine 'junkies' but include the busy market street in the background then look at the Blood Lawyers and police at the criminal's door.
For Friday 26th March (the meeting with Fitt)
Here we should have three complete key frames with possible sound accomplament (to further support the mood of each frame) in order to show off a bit and hopefully generate some positive feedback!
